Yesterday was the third week in our four session stint in both Newington Green and Homerton, with Anchor Hanover Resedential Housing.
It's been a real joy so far. Both venues have produced terrific interaction, input, and conversation, and we have thoroughly enjoyed every minute. It haas also proven interesting as we have had to adapt around it being over 55s, and therefore there are both physical and age related obstacles to overcome.
Yesterday was particularly fun as we introduced a twist on our exercise, stressing movement and fun with games, as well as two cracking nutrition interactions around "fats", that brought up some good questions and thoughts.
Both groups have said that they are sad that next week will be the last, but we will be providing a lot of laughs and targets for them. Also, we will be finishing on bingo with guest number callers, and hopefully a media presence at both - I know Islington Gazette is coming to Newington Green in the morning.
