It's been a good start top this week - and what is another crucial month for HMHB.
Last week we approached Hackney Public Health, and Anchor Hanover Housing, with a proposition to approach the lottery for an ambitious three year programme, working in all AHH - Resedential Housing, around mental and physical health. Delighted to say that the Head of Service for Hackney Public Health has replied to say they would be happy to support any applications we make.
With that in mind, we will prepare an initial document and video approach, work with Hackney PH, as well as AHH - and we are wanting to speak with the Hackney CCG too - and would hope that with all that suport the Lottery will look favourably on us producing a proper application. It is a massive boost for us.
Also, this morning I met with the Service Manager for Haringey Wellbeing Network, and we have agreed to deliver a one off taster session with them at the end of March, with a view of organising a six week programme to start towards the end of April. Unfortunately for us all this would be free. However, they would also support our Lottery application in return. It is a tremendous opportunity.
We do however need to fund some kind of sponsorship of around £1500-£2000 for the next sux months of running costs. Without that we are scuppered.
