Well, it is actually getting to desperation stage with running costs, so I decided to put out a plea on Twitter. I blitzed a lot of companies, just hoping someone would see the work we are doing and come to our rescue.

We did get one response, which was welcomed. It was from Barclays, and they recommended we go to their sponsorship page, put an expression of interest email together, and we have done that and sent it back, thanking the guys on twitter too. Naturally, we totally in their hands, and no promises or anything. It would be so so good to get the sponsorship (we asked for the walks and fitness sessions) for a year, as that would cover our basic running costs for a year. That would total £3000 - which we appreciate is a big chunk, but would give us peace of mind. I will keep people informed if anyone else replies, and if Barclays are able to help.  If not, we run a serious risk of it all ending.

I popped into Highbury Pool yesterday, and they have agreed in principle to us running a midweek fitness session at the venue, which would be terrific. A lot of people who came before the fire at the centre are not able to get to the Sobell on a Saturday morning.

I completed a poster for the Haringey one off taster session - which looks like it will be on the last week in March, at Stapleton Hall Road, near to Crouch Hill.

Finally, I lost 3kg last month - and have been using the Rebalance Free 12 week Weight Management course managed by Islington. Now its the tricky second month of maintaining. Onwards!!!
