I do enjoy trying to find relatable pictures for the top of these posts.

It's been an eventful, stressful at times, but overall a successful year so far. We have managed to run a couple of fantastic programs in Residential Housing in Hackney - and that not only proved the fluidity and adaptability of the project, but also how far professionally we have become in our delivery.  They were a pleasure to do, we met some great contacts, and from that we potentially have a couple of interesting meetings booked in April.

The Saturday fitness sessions are going very well, and that is down to the generosity of Better Gyms, and we really hope that we can continue this partnership. We will be launching a midweek session at Highbury Leisure Centre in May too. Really looking forward to that.  These are managed by our very own Dean (PT Zombie) alternately with Lazza, as Dean works in Haringey on alternative Saturday mornings, but everyone who attends says they enjoy the sessions. We will be getting some video feedback this week, and updating our website to accommodate this part of HMHB.

The walk is going so well. We have people turning up who have mobility issues, as well as various illnesses (one lady joined us after picking up her prescriptions last week, and she came out holding a booklet of forms!!!), but thet come along due to the friendships and banter that we all enjoy. This nicer weather helps too.

We will be launching a big lottery bid, and preparations for that are underway. It will be a huge effort, lots of work, and obviously no promises, but with suitable support from organisations we hope to get over the line. We are asking Hackney Public Health, Haringey Well-being Network, and Islington CCG to support us in our application. We have already approached all of them, and they have provisionally all said they would, so it is just a matter of working hard and fast now.

Overall, we are so so so close to actual seed funding and establishing ourselves. Let's hope that all this work pays off!!!  Thanks everyone for support, following us, believing in us. Despite various issues that come along, we are still fighting.
Yay!!!
