I have worked very hard on an application, as people know, for a Hackney Council Community Fund, for a total of £4982. We are aiming to work alongside Anchor Hanover again, reporting to Hackney Public Health too, for am intervention to start later this year.
I have completed the application and sent to various people to look at, revise if needed, and advise of changes too. It was complex, with lots of information required, but we remain hopeful.
We would start in September and finish in March 2020, so it is a seven month project. We would look to work in four estates in that time with Anchor - hopefully with 40-48 residents. Doing two estates a week, we would go in each for one morning (2 hours) and focus on our Ajani delivery around mindset, health, exercise and nutrition.
We had to detail what we intended to do, and why we thought there was a need for this intervention. We had to explain how we deserved the funding, and how it would be spent. I really hope we can manage to get this, as it would greatly enhance our lottery opportunity.
