After several drafts, we finally sent in our completed Hackney funding application this morning.
I had sent it off to various people for their approval, including our mentor Scott, as well as Anchor Well Being Coordinator Ann. It was important that they agreed with the wording, and they both made excellent suggestions on changes and additions.
I guess there will be a lot of organisations applying. I hope that the fact we mention Hackney Public Health, as well as the fact we have enjoyed success with our pilots in Hackney, can both work to our advantage.
We have contacted all three boroughs (Islington, Hackney and Haringey) to say we will want to have an initial lottery proposal ready by the end of this month, and if they need anything from us to tell us now. We need their support. I have also contacted our website guru, Kacper, as we want to put a video together - i am already gathering clips.
